THE LOFT FOWEY
Right at the top of Foye Landing, The Loft is a light filled hideaway with its own private deck for sun, books and long, unhurried lunches. Inside, it’s all boutique comfort, a super king bed, a beautiful bath set within the bedroom, and sliding pocket doors that let you shape the space around your mood. Come back from the coast, pour a glass, and settle into a slower rhythm above the rooftops.
THE SPACE
The Loft is set at the top of the building, giving it a tucked away, private feel from the moment you arrive. It’s spacious, calm, and finished with that quietly premium touch that makes everything feel easy.
The layout is designed for real downtime. The super king bed is the centrepiece, made for lie ins and early nights after salty air and long walks. In the same room, the bath turns the bedroom into something closer to a boutique stay, the kind of detail that makes you pause, unpack properly, and lean into holiday mode. Sliding pocket doors let you close things off when you want a little separation, or open them up so the apartment feels airy and relaxed.
Step outside and the private deck becomes your favourite spot. There’s dining space for breakfast in the sun, plus loungers for doing absolutely nothing at all. It’s the perfect place to start the day slowly, or end it with a drink and that satisfied feeling of having found somewhere you’ll want to return to.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Fowey is a harbour town with personality. A place of steep streets, sea views that appear between buildings, and that constant sense of life moving on the water. Days here are made for wandering without a plan, browsing independent shops, stopping for something good to eat, then doing it all again at a slower pace. Downstairs at ground level you’ve got a proper holiday treat, the famous Game of Cones.
If you love the outdoors, you’re brilliantly placed for coastal adventures, from cliffside walks to small beaches and coves that feel like discoveries. If you prefer your holidays with a little culture woven in, Fowey has a long creative history and a calendar of events that brings the town to life, especially in regatta season. And when you’re done, you get to retreat back up high, away from the bustle, with your own deck and a calm space that feels like a proper escape.
GETTING AROUND
Getting around Fowey is easy, with much of the town best explored on foot. From The Loft, you're just a short walk from the harbour, independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, making it easy to leave the car behind and enjoy everything the town has to offer.
The passenger ferry to Polruan runs regularly throughout the day, providing access to another picturesque Cornish village and additional coastal walks. The South West Coast Path is also within easy reach, offering spectacular walks in both directions along the coastline.
If you're looking to explore further afield, destinations such as Charlestown, Mevagissey, the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock are all within a comfortable drive. For those arriving by train, the nearest mainline station is Par railway station, around 15 minutes away by car or taxi, with regular connections to London and the rest of the UK.
Whether you're planning to spend your days exploring the coastline, visiting Cornwall's famous attractions or simply enjoying the charm of Fowey itself, The Loft provides an ideal base from which to do it all.

OTHER INFO
YOUR ACCESS TO THE LOFT
Access is independent, via a stone staircase up the right hand side of the building to a gated entrance.
From the gate, there are two further flights of stairs up to The Loft, then along a cobbled walkway leading to your private deck and entrance. The stairs are quite steep, so it’s worth bearing in mind for anyone with limited mobility or heavy luggage.
PARKING
Parking in Fowey is mainly public and paid, and that’s completely normal for a harbour town. The good news is there are two car parks close by, so you can arrive, park up, and relax.
Nearest option
Caffa Mill Car Park is the closest paid public parking. It’s £7 per day or £17.40 for a week which is great value if you’re staying longer. It can get busy in peak season, and spaces aren’t guaranteed. If you move your car at busy times, you may not get a space again.
Second option
The Old Station Masters Car Park is a few minutes further on and is a handy backup if Caffa Mill is full. It’s £1 per hour or £6.50 for 24 hours.
PLEASE NOTE
Long-term stays allowed 28 days or more
No smoking
No parties or events
Regretfully no pets

There is another studio apartment within the building, and the access route up to The Loft passes by the lower terrace.
The utility room is a shared amenity for guests within the building and includes a washer dryer and a fridge freezer.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to risk of fire from lithium batteries, items such as electric bikes and electric scooters, including batteries, must not be stored or re charged in this property at any time.
